Said good-bye to everyone today except my mom. She's Tuesday.

Everyone's disbanding or settling. Home isn't home anymore. Brother's getting married, moved away. Sister, number one, is going to college. Movie kids are gone away and will finish their movie and then, um, do whatever movie kids do. People have babies in them. The pharmacist, number three, bought some land and will build a house and make lots of dollars. Number four is moving to Texas and after a few months will be in Africa doing mission work. Other people are buying houses and cars and getting called to the Middle East.

I'm going West.

Saying good-bye was much harder than I expected. The missionary got excited and said, "Look, we're going on adventures! Just like we always said!" The parents cried a little and closed the garage door and didn't watch me go, like they usually do. The sister cried and got eye make-up everywhere, and I felt bad. The pharmacist and I clung to each other and I cried and cried and we told each other "I love you" and then I choked and swatted everyone away and said, "I'm too sad, I gotta go now" but my sister grabbed me once more to say she loved me, too.

Very dramatic.

I need one more cardboard box, some newspaper, and maybe a few grocery sacks.

For my jewelry box, some clothes, and to give my gramma's glasses back to my mom.

Tuesday would have been the two-year anniversary. I remembered that today, and realized for the last month I've just been thinking of July 19th as the day I have a dentist appointment. Saturday my dad and I went to a pawn shop and sold the rings.

I feel very good. Not at all sad, not at all bitter. And now every bit is gone.

Everything will be so good. An adventure.

Thursday.

Thursday, Thursday, which has always been my favorite day, nearly tied with Tuesday.

I'm sleepy.

Thursdays are good, though.
